My children wanted to do some sort off ghost tour while in Gettysburg, so while just walking through town we spoke with several people promoting their ghost tour, as we walked down Baltimore street we were stopped by a gentleman sitting on the steps of an old house next to farnsworth house, he was telling us about their ghost hunt... We got there 15 minutes early as requested, then waited another 15 minutes as the guide didn't show up and we had to wait until the Storyteller from a previous group was done. Plus, the size of our tour group was well over 25. Everyone was pretty surly when it started, and the tour started out in a scene like... More

It took a lot to persuade my 14 year old to climb the steps of the Farnsworth House Inn into the garrett at the top of the house to listen to ghost stories. The charming story teller could not have been better. He was funny, sincere and struck the right balance to entertain his audience and impart a bit of... More

This was a good tour. We especially liked the visit to the garret of the Farnsworth Inn. We did get a lot of orbs in our pictures. The tour guides dress in period time which is cool. We do recommend this tour and would take it again ourselves. More

Alli (not sure if that's how you spell her name) was our tour guide and was amazing. She had good reception from spirits in the home and was very knowledgeable about the house, things that had happened there and spirit activity. She was an amazing story teller. We had a small group which was nice. She used the dowsing rods... More

I was so impressed with this place! It wove history into its wax and automated presentation. And the actors who were involved were really extraordinary, in all respects. I would say this is a don't miss - if you find this sort of thing fun. I MUST say, though its definitely for older people. More

I had been on a Farnsworth House Tour several years ago and enjoyed it very much. My Ghost Tour this time was terrible. Our guide ( Ally?) thought she was very funny (NOT). She was also extremely rude several times. After a long drawn out overly dramatic talk by the guide, we went to a field across the street. She... More

Ok we did 2 things at the Farnsworth house. The first night in Gettysburg we did the Cemetery Hill walking tour with a girl named Gwen. She was very good. She must have had ADD though because the smallest of things distracted her. She also walked a little too fast for some other the members in our group who was... More

We had a young man lead our tour who embellished everything to the point of not knowing what to believe. It was interesting to go into the Farnsworth attic but the stories were so over the top we found it frustrating. We simply wanted authentic history about the paranormal not some cheesy actor portraying an untruth. We left the tour... More

The only problem with this tour was that there were special needs children with our tour and they were rather distracting we hoped to avoid a problem like this by going go the late tour. More
