Enjoyed a guided tour, and then took the auto tour published by the park service (free) on our own. The guide was exceptional -- he was knowledgeable and funny.

The enormous gravity of the war, the circumstances and repercussions are expertly portrayed through film, art and the exhibits. We took advantage of the film, cyclorama painting, museum, ranger talks and a podcast to hike the battlefield.
Wonderful museum and tours. Worth the time. The Cyclorama was amazing and the level of detail of the three days of the battle was enlightening and sobering.
The new visitor center is awesome. It was very open and easy to get around. The new cyclorama is very good.
I went with a group and we had a great time. The park is beautiful and chock-full of history. There is a LOT of information so be sure to get a guide for the optimal experience! The trip
