After the museum visit a trip to see the statue had to be done. After watching all the fit people running up and down the steps as part of their training it must have been amusing for them to see a 44 year old overweight guy joining in but it was a must do. Was quite proud to get to... More

The Rocky statue is right outside of the art museum, lots of people posing for photo's with Rocky, even a little cart selling crushed ice called 'Rocky ice' nearby. Was fun to see the many people being videoed by friends and family as they ran up the art museum steps, just as Rocky did in the films, it looks like... More

Hey! It's Rocky! Maybe the younger ones won't "get it" but it's worth seeing. And it's in front of the Art Museum. Can't beat it! And there were a ton of people running up the steps. Hilarious! Loved it!

Hm the famous rocky statue had been moved, no more 'rocky steps'. But you can still ruin them up, but at the top you will be disapointed due to the fact that 'Rocky' is now placed at the very bottom.

OK......I had to read some of the "terrible" reviews before writing this...I was wondering, how can a statue be "terrible? So maybe the statue itself isn't "art", but isn't movie making an art form? Sure it is. Isn't the "Rocky Balboa" character a legend of the movie industry? Sure it is. If you are there, take a look.....run up the... More

We saw the Rocky stairs and everything around them and we made the whole circle around the building but we were unable to find the statue itself...

Seeing it up close and being there gave me goosebumps. Who doesn't like goosebumps? Ok, and it is close to a bunch of other things that are worth seeing like the art museum and the art work on boat house row.

Seriously, how can you not love Rocky and his never give up attitude? Always rising up to the challenge of his rival, just a man and his will to survive. You gotta be a very jaded person. And yes, the Rocky steps are right besides the statue too!

You will find tourists lined up to take thier picture with this statue. The locals just don't understadn why people do it, but they do. The statue was made as a prop to Rocky III and then donated to the city. Great place to bring out of towners, they will love seeng it. I suggest while you are there, go... More
