A zoo is a zoo to me, and while I love animals, I am not a fan of seeing them in a zoo setting. I always feel bad for them. That being said, I will also not let that alter my judgment of my experience. Isis think it was a little expensive ($66 for family of 4 for admission). On... More

Have a membership and we get there many times a year. So exciting to see the new baby animals and watch them grow. Great that you can take a lunch in and many spots to picnic! More

This is a place for everyone to visit. I LOVE the many animals it has as well as the great attraction, and the ballon ride is awesome! More

The Philadelphia Zoo is just big enough to enjoy in one day. The animal exhibits are close enough where you don't spend the entire day walking, but placed in such a fashion where they don't feel cramped. As one would expect, there are a wide variety of animals. We are zoo members and visit quite frequently. I offer these suggestions:... More

l liked this Zoo, it was just the right size and the food within the zoo was reasonable considering you were in an area where you think that it would not be. The animals are well taken care of and looked to be very happy. It was nice to see all the animals and I would reccommend it to small... More

While getting to the zoo, and some of the surrounding areas are less than pleasant, the Zoo itself is very beautiful and I love to go there. I recently bought an Individual Membership. With that, you can take one guest each time and it makes it worth it. Each entry ticket, per adult, is $18 and parking is $12 if... More

We had planned to spend one day at this zoo, we didn't even make a dent. The price was fantastic, only wish we could have spent more time there. More

I am not a "zoo person", I went here to please my husband but was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. It is a beautiful spot. It's like a "park/zoo". it is very well maintained. I enjoyed walking around and seeing the animals --especially the giraffes. More

The only bad thing was that it was a little small. But the zoo had all the animals that any other zoo might have. More

It had been a number of years since we'd visited the country's oldest zoo and was I surprised. We visited with our 3 year old and 18 month old grandchildren and even at their ages they had a great time. There is soooo much to do here that you won't be disappointed. Most of the exhibits have been updated and... More
