So many amazing sites to see, it's just one after another. We visited artists drive and the sand dunes at stovepipe wells. Literally blew my mind! BRING WATER!! More

A surprising gem. Subtle beauty you have to look for, but which is very rewarding. Stay away from the late spring and summer months, if you plan to get out of your car. More

It is cool just going to death valley but I never expected the beauty of the rock formations. Just driving along and occasionally getting out to take photos and visiting the lowest elevation made my day, even though the temperature was 121 in May which almost tied the record of 122. Of course it was hot but not as uncomfortable... More

I love the drive through Death Valley and do it most years on my trip from San Francisco to Las Vegas. A stay in the park at Stove Pipe Wells near the Dunes or any of the accommodation in the park gives you time to travel and walk and explore the park. First time visitors need time to see what... I wanted to visit Death Valley because so many movies have been filmed in the desert. I actually just wanted to see it in person. I thought it would be a short trip down one long road and back, no big deal. I was wrong! It was stunning. BEFORE YOU GO: If you are coming from Las Vegas, stop at... More

I honestly did not expect such incredible beauty of the canyons and salt flats. I really thought to expect simple desert like terrain and some flat. Its not like that at all. There are arches and canyons equivalent to some sections of major national parks. I did not know that Death Valley is the largest national park in the US.... More

One of my favorite place on the earth. The heat, the desert, the silence, the history and the tranquility of the place below me away. Can't wait to visit this place again. More
