The results of the vision of one generous civic patron who envisioned a sculpture garden in a depressed stretch of Main Street. It has catapulted into a lively section of town, with a cornbread festival, a bakery, green store and new Root Cafe nearby. Definitely worth a visit.

The Bernice Garden is privately owned by Anita Davis, but intended for public use. The garden was created to celebrate the community and hosts community events as well as private events. The Bernice garden features a yearly sculpture exhibit in an effort to foster community interaction and a sense of pride in the neighborhood.The 150’ x 150’ garden consists of landscaped area utilizing native plants, with a crushed granite foundation for the artworks created by Arkansas artists. Next to the sculpture garden is a concrete patio, benches and approximately 20 parking spaces.
