The viewing platform is accessed via a high speed lift. While no visit to new york would be complete without a visit to the top of the empire state building, the best place to view the empire state building is from the top of the Rock. We went on a spur of the moment and had I know how much it was going to cost before we were already in line, I wouldn't have done it. It wasn't as crowded as Empire State Building or take as long to do but for the price of it I wouldn't do it again. More
