We started off our High Line walk at 16th and as we were walking there we came across the Chelsea Market. What an interesting building with some superb shops. I can highly recommend 9th Ave Espresso, within the market, if you want a coffee made properly.

Chelsea market is a nice indoor market with cool decor, some shops and a whole variety of food places. A great place to pop into for lunch or a snack. It's near to the Highline park so you could combine a trip to both.

Lovely boutique market in an old biscuit factory under the high line. Lots of high quality food businesses including great fresh and sea food markets. Nice that they have kept the original infrastructure in the building. Great place to get a picnic and go for a nice walk along the high line round the corner.

We really enjoyed a couple of hours here mooching around all the different cafes and food shops trying to decide what to pick for our picnic up on the high line - recommend the milkshakes from the milk bar and fat witch brownies!
