We were told by the people selling the Empire State Tickets that the Skyride was a really good experience and we would enjoy learning more about NY and the attractions! We paid an extra $20 for this...and my god what a complete waste of money that was! We walked through 3 'briefing stages' which is just a video of this... More

Warned about the long queues, we bought the express line and virtual NY sky tour. We then proceeded to queue to exchange our receipt for a ticket (and scored a foul-mouthed attendant who was having a bad morning), then queued to have another attendant take our ticket and usher us througha turnstile into a holding chamber. Here we stood for... More

The skyride was a complete was of my time and money. It was opened in 1995 and has not received an update since then. Do not waste either of these on it. Beware. Enjoy your time in NY doing something else.

I am so sorry if you came to visit the United States and bought tickets to this. Profit, not pride in NYC, is the motive behind the NY Skyride. The Skyride is barely worth $5.00, far from the $29.00 tickets that are sold by NY Skyride online. The clarity of the screen is 20 years old. The seats and the... More

I'm furious for being tricked into buying expensive tickets including this lousy ride and the Empire State Buidling. I would rather pay to skip the New York Skyride. Both my husband and I hated it. It's one of those rides with a virtual simulator that was cool 30 years ago. It had definitely seen better days, the video was outdated... More

Ridiculously out of date video and loud, annoying ride that just jerked you around, didn't even really sync up with the dumb movie all that well.

This attraction is really lame. Very expensive and not worth a fraction of the cost. There are so many other cool things to do in New York. Save your money, avoid this, and do something really nice, like a Broadway show, a ride in Central Park, anything but this!

This ride was feeble. I have seen better graphics on ceefax/teletext than this ride. It was just awful and we came away so disappointed and we felt robbed.

This ride was awful. The ride was way overpriced and we felt cheated. I would not recommend this to anyone. Enough said.

Thank goodness it was included in the New York Pass because I wouldn't have paid for it. Just a ten minute short jiggle in your seat while some New York scenery and sights flashed by on the screen.
