How fantastic is that instead of destroying something it was transformed into an area where family and friends can enjoy a fantastic and beautiful walk around an area which used to be industrial and unloved. Please take the time to travel there and walk around this skyline route. The diversity of people there alone will keep you entertained.

There are so many great spots to view the Manhattan sklyine, but within the city, from across the East River and from the water. My favorite view is from the Brooklyn side of the Brooklyn Bridge. A very typical view of new york! I caught a free ferry in finantial district, the trip passes near the statue of Liberty and in the round, the Skyline was the big attraction!
