My hubby dragged me to see this, I wasn't keen but I still enjoyed myself. The submarine tour was quite cool. The biggest disappointment was that the space shuttle was closed. Kids and boys will love this.

Seriously underwhelmed by this attraction.
The basic price of admission, which just gets you on board, is steep when you have a number of kids in tow. But then, if you want "extras", you have to dig deeper again. Want to see the Shuttle Enterprise? Pay up, please. "Concorde"? Pay up, please. It just felt like it was an excuse...

Sadly, the shuttle museum and some other exhibits were still closed after Hurricane Sandy, but they are supposed to open some of them in July. There are some great planes on the flight deck, including a Blackbird. They seem well taken care of. On the hanger deck, there are more planes and more than a few interactive exhibits that would...

Amazing museum! If you're into any/all of planes, ships, guns, wars/world history, space exploration, amusing history facts, don't miss it! It's super fun to see the insides of these air and sea crafts (Growler, Intrepid, Concord). I just wish I could have done this when I was a kid! Special props to the Concord tour, the guide (John) is very...

We like The Intrepid a lot! We started by watching the movie about the ship, it was very touching, in fact I cried. The size is really enormous, unbelievable! The history of the ship is great and it was very educational. And a bonus; the great view of Manhattan from the top deck!
To start off with, the shuttle exhibit isn't open yet. You can still get pics of the back and part of it's side, while we were there.
The museum is large and really neat to see a carrier and it's size. The adjacent sub is really neat to see too and an eye opening experience.
The exhibits were neat to...

The Intrepid Air and Space Museum is definitely worth a visit! My only tip is to go with someone. There are a few flight simulators which require 2 people. The price is on the expensive side, but it’s no more expensive than any of the other Midtown/Times Square attractions. It gets costlier if you chose to go on some of...

Really enjoyed my visit and would return tomorrow if I could. Wisely left my wife to her retail therapy and enjoyed a wet afternoon touring this multi exhibit museum. Firstly went on a guided tour of the Cold War submarine, amazing and informative. Then off to explore the Aircraft Carrier, lots of interactive fun and audio visual presentations with a...

this was one of the things I looked foward to seeing every year in camp. Really cool stuff, history, education it really has something itneresting for kids of all ages to enjoy. If you go with a grandpa/ war veteran it's even better :)
I visited this museum with some friends using our "New York Pass" for admission. There is so much to see. You could spend hours checking out the planes on the flight deck and the displays/artifacts inside the ship. The space shuttle was off limits but we caught a glimpse of the Concorde. My favorite part was a walk through the...
