what an excellent peice of arcitecture absolutly lovelly building to go and see the inscription on the frount of the building was a true dedication to the workforce.

History or architecture buffs will appreciate this giant post office building much more than average visitors to NYC. However with so much to do and see in the city the General Post Office makes for low priority visit for most and is difficult to suggest for targeting.

This is a fantastic building with two small sections on each end that contain historical postal items. The ceiling is just beautiful but water damaged in a number of places.
As to service- there are a number of automated machines that will accept credit cards- so mailing of packages is quick and painless. When one did have to interact with...
