I was amazed at how quiet the park is. After walking through the hussel and bussel of NY being so loud and busy to start walking through to peace perfect peace, people casually walking and relaxing it was very much an amazing experience. It was late fall when I was there and the colours of the trees were truly majestic!... More

So much to see, bring a picnic lunch and spend the day walking, biking, strowling and seeing all the park has to offer. You will recognize lots of the park from movies.

didn't realize how big this would be, so only covered a small area. felt sorry for the tired looking horses that were carrying tourists all day and evening, especially with all the noise/traffic/horns blowing.

People watching is especially good in the park. The park is massive and everyone is able to do their own thing. Its like a seperate town the roads through the park are so long. People were cycling, roller blading, skateboarding or just strolling. There is also a memorial called Strawberry fields to John Lennon. Worth spending a few hours here.

No trip to NYC is complete without a visit to this amazing space. Very scenic. The hours just slip by when strolling the many pathways. A great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city's busy thoroughfares.

If you go to NYC, you have to stop and walk around the park. It seems so out of place in New York, even though you obviously are still in this huge city. The lakes, bridges, walking paths and Belvedere Castle are all wonderful. And when you hear and see a redtail hawk in NYC, you feel like you can't... More

Go early in the morning to avoid the major crowds - a real must do for NYC. You can pick the bike hire up for free if you invest in a New York Pass!

The best. That says it all. We especially enjoyed a twilight stroll through the park after an event at Lincoln Center and a nice meal near by. We love the winding paths and the beautiful trees. Also a great way to get your morning work out with a run!

We chose to do a carriage ride through the park, a little pricey but a great experience. The flowers were blooming all over, musicians were playing and we had a great time.
