I really enjoyed my visit to MoMA. I don't believe one has to love modern art to appreciate this museum. The secret is to be sure and get the audio tour (included in your admission fee) and head up to floors 4 & 5. Then stop and enjoy the pieces that are outlined in your audio program. I will definitely... More

Being a member, albeit from out of town, was helpful in that I hardly waited to enter. I headed straight for the 5th floor where the Picassos, Legers, Derains, Klimts, Miros, etc. are located. I had an hour and a half until I had to leave, and it was not enough to enjoy the numerous, fabulous paintings and sculptures.

If you visit a museum, you expect real art. The MOMA has it, Monet, Renoir etc...,but it also has spent losts of money for those white dots on white background that a grade one kid could paint as well, not to talk about red on red, beige on beige, grey on grey. A pitty!!

My beautiful daughter took me to NYC for Mother's Day. Living halfway between NYC & Philly, we are fortunate to have easy access to some of the best museum's in the world. This was our first time at MOMA and we sincerely enjoyed it. They have Van Gogh's The Starry Night on display. This is one of my daughter's favorite... More

Like many museums, MoMa can be pricey, but it's free on Fridays from 4-8 and it's definitely worth the visit! It houses my favorite Picasso piece (Las Tres Musicas) and I never leave without seeing the pop art! If you don't like modern art, you may not enjoy it as much. One of my friends said that she likes paintings... More

My husband and I are not big modern art fans so half the stuff we just didn't get, but if you are then you'll probably enjoy it. It's a nice building, a pleasant place to wander around, has an interesting shop, and the cafe food was decent. A good place to spend a few hours if you like modern art,... More

This museum ranks up there with the great modern art museums in London, Paris and Amsterdam. The range of pieces is very impressive from Warhol to Van Gough to Dali. Munchs scream was there when we vistied which was fantastic. There were warhols in the cafe and some of our favourites from Klimt and Pollock in the galleries. The lay... More

MoMa is brilliant. The collection is breath-taking with examples of the world's greatest modern artists. No need to comment on the art. The displays are clear and informative, the lighting excellent. Plenty of information points to guide you. Great policy of allowing you to photograph anything other than special exhibitions (presumable due to archaic copyright laws). Other museums please take... This is one of the world's greatest museums, superbly organised with an atmosphere and facilities doing justice to the inspiring collection of exhibits.

This is a beautiful multi-level building, with lots of cut out windows and internal balconies so you can see the other floors, and often their ground floor exhibit takes advantage of the fact the people can also look down on it from higher floors and gain something from the higher perspective. Their permanent collection has great works by all the... More
