Charming movie about the Indians which is worth seeing. Small Indian village, pirate ship and some hands on things for the kids to do. A nice couple of hours!

Indoor museum is interactive and so much fun for kids and adults. The Queen Elizabeth II replica and staff, speaking in the elilzabethan brogue, was an amazing experience. The blacksmith and games at the outside villiage was amazing, so much to see and do, and then the outdoor ampitheater! Wow!
It was a nice place to let the kids explore - my son wanted to walk on the "pirate ship". I expected a little more for $10 a person... But it was something to do. There was a hands on mini museum that was fun. You could dress up, interact with the exhibit stuff.
We spent a very enjoyable hour or two here during our brief visit to Outer Banks and Manteo. The introductory film was really excellent, telling the story of the island's history from the perspective of the earliest Native Americans. The settlement, with it's emphasis on "real" characters from 1587, is a great way to get the flavour of early life...

We went here on a school field trip. The kids loved it! The adults liked it too. The characters were fun, funny and were able to present to the class in a way that made it fun! We will definitely go back for the museum. It was closed temporarily.

Went here with my husband and 2 year old son. we had a great time walking around. most of the exhibits were hands on so my son was free to touch and explore. The actors in the village and on the ship interacted well with him and were very informative for my husband and myself. This was a great place...

I went here for the afternoon with my two tweens. We learned quite a bit and had a great time together. It was an especially cold windy day, but the staff still took the time to make sure we learned everything possible. My only complaint is that--for the price--there's not much to see unless you really take the time to...

This is the type of place you need to stop and read everything so you'll get more out of it. While some exhibits were average to good, the overall variety of things in this park make for plenty to appreciate and were very authentic. Of course the Elizabeth II is the main attraction, actually being on board a full sized...
