A friend and I from Metrowest joined the tour yesterday and throughly enjoyed it. Elyssa, the guide, was informative and interesting as we walked this historic and little known area of Boston. I learned a lot of new information and I have lived in the area for 50 years! I would recommend for someone visiting Boston and there were two... More

Great time had on this tour. From the six different restaurants and the personal connections to each along with history of the South End was amazing! What a great way to learn of new places within he neighborhood. Cant wait to spread the word to friends and coworkers and give the tour another go around next season!

My husband and I had a great time on our food/ walking tour. We really liked the food and the history/ background information provided was very interesting. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and had a great rapport with the businesses that we visited. This is a great tour for a local or visitor. Another bonus is learning about... More

Food and History all rolled into one tour? - Home run for me! I love learning about the history of places and getting a glimpse into different restaurants around the city. What a fun concept to throw a historical and food tasting tour together! I'm going to buy my Mom and Sister a couple of tickets next season for sure!

I went with two sisters 48 and 53 and I'm 68 and we were part of a group of 13 with folks in their 20's-30's and it worked for everyone. Our guide Alyssa had incredible knowledge of the South End (not to be mistaken with South Boston!) and provided just enough facts about the neighborhoods we strolled thru on our... More

Last Saturday, I had a grand afternoon learning about the South End of Boston. Our tour guide, Alyssa, did a fabulous job sharing culinary, cultural and architectural lore about this beautiful and walking-friendly part of Boston. We had just the right amount of food, fun and exercise. Alyssa was diligent in explaining the plan and then delivering on it 100%.... More

This covers an area of Boston that is often neglected, and does it really well. The guide, Alyssa, is entertaining and informative, with a nice variety of food and history. Don't miss it!

I booked this tour thinking it would get us off the beaten track and away from those franchise restaurants and it more than did that. We had a great three hour walk around Boston s south end neighbourhood where our tour guide Alyssa was able to point out all sorts of quirky facts but incorporate some great eating experiences at... This was a great way to see lesser known sites that included history, architecture, food, mini bios of various chefs, and the overall development of an area. Alyssa really knows her stuff and was presented in a fun and informative way. Various food samples will please almost everyone along the way. What food I did not care for, someone else... More

We took the sweet & savory tour on 10/13/12. Alyssa is an awesome guide through a beautiful area of Boston. The history and neighborhood tidbits Alyssa shared made for an interesting and fun walk through the South End. The food was incredible, especially the sandwich from Parish Cafe. All the food was wonderful, but I will dream about that sandwich.... More
