This world-famous, three-story globe is one of the key attractions at The Mary Baker Eddy Library and has been visited by more than 10 million people since it was constructed in 1935. Brilliant colors and lights track global shifts over the past century as a rich orchestration of words, inspiring quotes, music, and LED lights illustrate how ideas have traversed time and geography and changed the world. « less

This does not dissappoint. It is cool to see the world from the inside of a giant globe. It is not something I would return to given the price but worth seeing once in your life. Heck, I'll probably go back some day and be just as amazed. More

I have wanted to visit the Mapparium for years and finally got the chance this week. I didn't allow enough time for all that was in the Library and the Church. This stained glass globe is one of a kind and is great for children who like the interactiveness and the echoing effect and adults who can see how much the world has changed. I am a local and have been many many times! More

Literally, you are on a walkway that cuts through the middle of this huge stained glass globe. It's fun to see the names of the countries as of 1930s, many of which disappeared as separate nations after WWII...and then realize that many have now become independent once again! More

If you have kids, this is worth stopping to see. You walk through a glass globe. The view is spectacular. The price is reasonable. It only takes 20-30 minutes to see it. More
