As a member of the Mass Geographic Alliance (www.massgeo.org) I continually look for histroy and geography sites to visit. This site although small gives a first hand look at what we have read about in history books and standing on the site gives one the feeling of being there. Enjoy your visit to Boston.

The site which is just outside the Old State House in Boston on Washington St. has been newly enlarged. It is worth a visit to the Old State House to see the authentic history of this event which changed our country forever.

This site is located along the Freedom Trail right outside of the National Park Visitors Center and Old State House. There's no memorial, plaque, or statue of any sort...just a circle of cobblestones. Its worth seeing just because of the historical context, but theres nothing to it besides that.

The site of the Boston Massacre is simply a notice on the ground that marks the location where five people were shot by British Forces before the war of independence. It is next to the old state hall, next to the "state" subway station and only a few minutes walk from Faneuil Hall Marketplace.
