The place to go for what is happening in Asheville. If there is Bluegrass, a Fair, a cultural event, that is where it will be . And there is plenty of local color surrounded by fun cafes and restaurants, all near the art scene, and best shops, even if there is no special event. A must see of every walk... More

I live here but I'm sorry, it's just a square. How interesting can it be? There's the Vance Monument, yawn, and a big grassy area just behind it that's new and modern looking. But it's someplace to walk past and stop for a moment on a walk through downtown Asheville. More

Neat area for the public to stroll or sit around in downtown Asheville! At different times, you will find neat things going on such as Art in the Park with different local crafters selling their goods! More

Pack Square is a busy area of Asheville. Parkiing and navigation are a challenge here because of all the people and traffic. You can see the monument by driving by in your car. This used to be a gathering place when people used to bring livestock to market years ago but now there is just a monument there. More

Met my brother who lives there for a family dinner and a beer. The baby back ribs were excellent. The place is large but a friendly place to dine or share a beer or drink in a pub like atmosphere. More

The footprints in the pavement and the boar statue are fun, and Pack Tavern just next to the Police station is great. It's just a square in the winter, but in summer there are live bands many nights during the week. More

Attended the arts museum, a play and much more at Pack Square while in Asheville recently. It is centrally located and in the heart of all things Asheville. Being a decidely wonderful walking city, PS is yet another desitantion with much too do should one get to this area in NC. The museum is fascinating along with a gift shop... More
