Say a play this past winter at the Scotish Temple downtown. Cool old building and stage with period (1900's) backdrops. The play was fun and entertaining, and you could tell the actors were having as much fun as the audience was. Still waiting to get back during warm weather to see them in Montford Park. Outdoor dramatic adventure with decent acting and stagecraft. You must bring your own seat and something to eat. Show up early for good seating. A relaxing evening when the weather permits.

The Montford Park Players are a wonderful community theater. Great production and talent especially considering what it is.

A few days before Christmas, two of us went to see the MPP's rendition of "A Christmas Carol" in the Masonic Temple. What a show loved the music and all the actors way to go. Cant wait for the next one directed by James King what a great director. The Montford Park Players gave a very nice performance. Located in the upstairs theatre at the Masonic Lodge in downtown Asheville, the actors, sets, and lights were excellent. The costumes were a bit lacking, but overall it was a very enjoyable performance.
