I went on a tour with 17 of my coworkers and we had a great time. Stephen and Brooke were knowledgeable and very informative about the Asheville food scene. I will definitely recommend this activity to all of my friends and guests that visit the area. Can't wait to go back and try some different restaurants on the tour.

Highly recommend taking a food tour at the beginning of your Asheville trip. Stephen was an excellent guide - very personable and knowledgeable and has obviously formed a great relationship with many of downtown's premier restaurant owners / managers. The guided walk in the busy downtown district helps to get your bearings and maybe show a couple of great spots... More

My husband, daughter and I took this food tour. It was great! We started out at the Battery Park Book Exchange with champagne, pimento cheese made with goat cheese and a trout dip on toast. Excellent. Next we went to Cucina 24. There we were served wine and a signature dish of chicken and gnocchi with the chef's twist. My... More

Steve was an awesome tour guide. Quite knowledgeable about the restaurants, food, Asheville and some of its interesting history. The group first destination was Cucina 24 ( an excellent choice, great appetizer, so enjoyed that we made a res and had dinner there that evening!). Then to Strada (also quite good), Chestnut ( very good, but the sister restaurant in... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the Eating Asheville Food Tour and highly recommend it. If possible, it's best to do the tour as close to the start of your stay because you will get many tips about good places to eat. We have done quite a few city food tours and have never been disappointed and this one continued the tradition. We... More

This was our first time to Asheville and Eating Ashville was a great tour to show us around the city and sample some delicious food! Our guides (Ben and Stephen) were awesome. This tour is a great introduction to the many restaurants Asheville has to offer. It helped us decide which ones we wanted to come back and try for... More

Stephen and Cicely were great guides! They were relaxed, fun, easy to talk to, and made the tour very enjoyable. The food, the info, the good time - it was the total package! We enjoyed all the restaurants - very varied food choices, and the drinks were yummy too!
