The Red Trolley runs twice an hour and is a great way to see Asheville. A half hour is a nice amount of time to spend in the various neighborhoods where the trolley stops; this makes it possible to see the city neighborhoods in depth while not having to worry about driving or parking. And you can do this for... More

This is well worth the money! The tour guides we had were very pleasant. I was quite interesting to learn about all the historical influences of the people, the buildings, and the scenic areas of the city. I liked the red line because you could get off wherever you want to explore and then hop back on to finish the... More

I rode the red trolley with my 6 yr old niece on Memorial Day. We had a great ride, Uncle Ted was very entertaining. He has lived in Asheville all of his life, so far. I only wish that I had discovered the trolley ride sooner, so that we could have taken advantage of the hop on/hop off benefit and... More

We visited Asheville in April and took a Trolley tour on April 27. Cathy was our tour guide. She was such a delight. Not only did she explain the history of Asheville, but she did it in such a way that it was extremely interesting and fun. She also filled us in on local restaurants and businesses as we passed... For someone who has never been to Asheville, this was perfect. We covered alot of area around Asheville, and our driver gave us great history and overall info on each area. She made it very interesing. It's really great that you can get off the trolley at several stops and walk around and get picked right up again. Very worth... More

Since this was our first trip to Asheville, we thought that taking a trolley tour would be a great way to see the sights in Downtown Asheville, as well as getting the general lay-of-the-land, so to speak. We started the trolley tour at the Visitor Center on Montford Avenue, and our tour lasted approximately 2 hours. Our tour guide was... More

We took this tour of Asheville as part of our overall Titan tour. Our guide was very informative & humourous & the tour added a necessary extra dimension to our stay in Asheville.

Important introduction to Asheville led by a knowledgeable tour guide through all the significant sections of Asheville with background and the little details that add life. Recommend highly. Tours begin at the Asheville visitors center which has restrooms, local information, and a handy store.

I tagged along with my husband to Asheville in May 2013 for a conference. While he was working, I booked a trolley tour of Asheville on the Gray Line Trolley Tour. The trolley picks up at various hotels and points of interest in Asheville. They offer a 2 day tour with hop on hop off privileges for $21 for adults.... More

My wife and I took a ride on the Gray Line Trolley Tour in Asheville this past weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour thanks to Mary, our driver. She certainly knows her stuff! We’ve toured with the Asheville Historic Trolley tour twice before, but the Gray Line offers more historical commentary and interesting facts. I learned more in 2 hours... More
