My husband and I got the Double the Fun package over the weekend as part of our anniversary celebration. We loved the massages and really enjoyed the outdoor private tubs. I got a little overheated so next time I would be mindful of that. The areas for showering and all the amenities were clean and we felt pampered as we... More

As five women friends (over 50) we chose to spend the night at the Lodge after a long hot soak in the tub and a great massage. We dined on great food (made by one of our friends) and enjoyed dinner on the deck. We retired inside and felt so relaxed. We spent the night listening to music, drinking wine,... More

Secluded and tasteful. This is a wonderful getaway. My favorite part is the private outdoor tubs that have a view into lovely trees. All the guests were very quiet and respectful of the place. Great massage, too. More

The Shoji is an interesting concept that could be just a bit better with a little bit of tweaking. This is not a spa where they cater to your every desire. If you want a bottle of water, be prepared to pay for it. The irony is that they have signs posted every where reminding you to stay hydrated. For... More

Shoji makes every attempt to make their guests feel welcome, pampered and relaxed. At the same time, we understand the majority of our guests are here to "escape" and, once a guest has started their treatment, we do limit our contact in order to allow for the guest's privacy. We regret that we did not meet your expectations and will... More

Shoji spa is really magic, you find a peaceful escape from the world and if you can sit in a hot tub and stare at the stars you will feel wonderful.... We stayed a week in the lodge and everyone was so nice, the massages we had with Kim were exceptional and the environment truely unique. I can totally recommend... More

My husband had this idea that we should got to Shoji while we were visiting Asheville and made a last-minute booking the same evening. We'd had a bit of a stressful day as we'd struck out on a couple of other things we'd wanted to do that day so were feeling kind of disappointed. Shoji, however, was just what we... More

This is what massage/spa experiences are meant to be. Peaceful, clean, beautiful, professional, organized, serene, etc. The massages were the best my husband and I have ever had. The employees were amazing, on time, quiet, informative, and completely comforting and warm. We went for our anniversary and wish we could go back every year. Thank you for setting the standard... My husband and I have been two or three times. It has more convenience and a bit more class than Hot Springs. Overall, it's fine. I recommend just getting a basic soak; the price really sky rockets with anything more. We spent close to $400 for massages and a soak the last time we visited. I was surprised that they... More
