Nice pub menu. Really wanted to try the rabbit stew; not available. Had sort of a charc plate with housemade sausage & brown bread, Red dragon cheese & a raisin chutney. Great nosh with a beer. Sorry I couldn't stick around for the music this evening. I'll be back.

If you have a chance and want to hear some really good blue grass or local flavor music this is the spot. Laid back and easy going is the whole them. Have visited several times now since last October and its fast becoming my favorite spot at night to grab a pint and listen to great music.

My wife and I went here in October 2011. WOW! THey had great beer at great prices, thier own brew! THier food was awesome. My wife, a vegetarian, had so many wonderful choices. The live music was exceptional and the service was top notch!!! We will make sure to visit Jack of the Wood often.
