We visited Wooten's Everglades Airboat Tour during our spring break vacation, my husband an myself had a great time as did our 4 yr old and 60 & 70 yr old Aunt and Uncle.
The tour guide was informative about the everglades, the landscape the current climate and changes taking place.
We only saw a handful of alligators as they...

We recently visited Wootens and took an airboat ride. It was ok...I think it was too much money for the ride we had. We saw mangrove trees but nothing else. The Capt was less than personable and didn't seem like he really wanted to be there. It was the last ride of the day and I think he was ready...

Not worth it. They dont have enough staff! You will wait most of the afternoon just to get on an airboat. Try another tour operator!!

We selected Wooten's over several other operators because they've been in business since 1953. I emailed ahead and asked if we needed a reservation. I received a prompt response saying we would be able to get a tour with no problem. Although we had to wait an hour, it was no problem for us because we passed the time in...

We were on a day trip to the Everglades and wanted to do an airboat ride while we were there. Wooten's was the cheapest we found ($70 for two adults, one child - under 4 was free) for a 30 minute ride. Most of the other places do 45-60 minute rides but with the kids I wanted a shorter ride....

We had the prevalent three-part-ticket.
Loved the airboat ride, it was great fun and we saw lots of Gators and birds. And we got a little wet!
Swamp buggy was super. Our guide was a font of knowledge and very funny. We loved her political rant! Super knowledgeable on the area, and we were inundated with animals, spiders, plants and...

We bought the package for our family...air boat ride, swamp buggy ride and animal visit..and it was a disappointment. They told us the air boat ride wait was 20 minutes..we waited 40 minutes..and the operator was not friendly or informative. The swamp buggy ride was initially informative...but then the woman tour guide went into a political rant. Her views of...

The swamp buggy ride was a huge disappointment. It's way over priced. We spent $70 for 2 adults and 1 child for what was supposed to be a 40-45 minute ride. Turns out, it was only 15-20 minutes down one little trail, and during most of the trip, the swamp buggy was parked as the guide talked about the area....

We took the 45 minute 6 person ride with Scoot Wooten. it was very entertaining, informative and given by someone who cared. Scott told us about the area and some of his gators. Their life and some of the affects of the last year's drought. We learned some things about the swamp which we did not know. Cost was about...
