It was the most stunning experience I have ever had! The visitors center was a good sto, extremely helpful and polite. We did the fiery furnace tour, which I would highly recommend, we had Ranger John who was excellent, supportive and very informative, we all challenged ourselves, and were very proud! More

We loved Arches. The visitor center is nice and has a good gift shop. There are no lodges or restaurants here so pack a picnic or eat before you visit. Your park pass is good for 7 days so you can also come and go. We arrived after lunch and spent about 6 hours in the park. We drove the... More

Do some of the hikes! They are amazing. You got to get out and take part. This is not a just drive through and take pictures park. The hike to Double O Arch from Devil's Garden has incredible views. One key is to go there when it is not too hot. The hike to top of Landscape Arch for sunset... More

We arrived at the Devil's Garden trail head around 7 am during a weekday and almost had the trail to ourselves. Some technical spots it seemed but excellent views. Definitely worth going early - such a wonderful spot. Suggest seeing both the North and South Windows too. We ended up tacking it on at the end of the day so... More

Book ahead to tour the fiery furnace with a ranger. The best way to see it. Devils Garden was an excellent hike to see all the arches and rock formations. Delicate Arch hike was great first thing in the morning. More

One of the superb NP of UT/AZ; many possibilities for hiking, but not always away from the crowd (ex.: Delicate Arch, or Landscape Arch). The hike led by a Ranger at Fiery Furnace is nice and moderate. The view at Park Avenue is a must. More

Everything here is astonishingly gorgeous. The trails are easy to follow and each one felt like an adventure. We walked to the Delicate Arch (challenging) and the Landscape Arch one afternoon, the Double Arch and the Sand Dune Arch one evening (both short and easy), and did the Fiery Furnace in the morning before leaving in the afternoon. The drives... More

What an amazing place! We hiked to several of the arches with Delicate Arch being the most difficult on a hot June day while backpacking a 3 year old the whole way! If you can make the strenuous hike up it is a MUST! In the heat of the summer I do not know how people made it up and... More
