We took the double decker bus tour. Our tour guide was hilarious and so very educated on all things San Francisco. We had many laughs and saw so many great sights! Tip...bring layers of clothes or a blanket. Our May tour was sunny but with many temperature extremes. Being in an open vehicle does not protect you from the cold... More

I was picked up at my hotel right on time and after a couple more pick ups we were taken to Chinatown. The driver/guide first took us down a couple of streets explaining some of the land marks then pulled up at the Cathay House restaurant where we were taken for a very unmemorable dinner. The food here was very... More

We booked a city tour on Gray line Tours at 2:15pm and headed over to the tour bus pick up area. Picking a city tour was a challenge for me. I really wanted a formal tour to learn more about the area and to see things that we probably wouldn't get to on our own. One thing that was required... More

The tour guide was not easy to understand, And had very little knowledge of the city. He slowed down quite far from crooked street. By the time most of us knew what we were looking at we were gone. Then down a side street into Chinatown, he didnt even go by the gates at the entrance. Though the Business District for some... More

I wanted to hit all the highlights of San Francisco in a quick manner so I booked the Gray Line tour at Fisherman's wharf for $20 each with my spouse. We rode on the top of a open air double decker bus/trolley. I did have to duck a few times to avoid branches and it did get a bit cold... More

We were picked up from our Hotel on time and then left waiting on the sidewalk for 45 minutes until the coach turned up. We arrived late at our lunch stop and had to wait 30 minutes for the driver to return. The tour is overpriced, the service poor, it does not include lunch and the wineries rather boring; the... More

Worst tour EVER. I guess they are still in business because so many tourists come to San Francisco, there are constant new customers. Our tour guide was the most ridiculous character. Not funny, had spilled food on his shirt, took phone calls from his girlfriend during the tour - and added nothing clever or informative about San Francisco whatsoever. We... More

My best advice is find a different tour to go on-do not choose the Gray Line wine tour. We were picked up at our hotel and we were taken to the Pier to check in and get on the bus to the wineries. The tour was a bore and the wine wasn't good at all. We saw the Cline winery... More

My Wife and I took two Gray Line tours during a week visit to San Francisco. The first was the Chinatown meal and walking tour. This started well with a friendly, informative and joke telling driver. The meal at Cathay House had average food and poor service in a dated restaurant, then the walking part with a chinese guide named... More
