The lines can be long but the opportunity to see this unique lifestyle is worth the wait. I understand there will be more homes on the tour on 26 September 2009 and the ticlket sales will be limited so that should help the wait time.

Long lines make it impossible to view all the homes even if you start at opening time. We saw 11 homes in 5 hours. Average wait was about 20 minutes and then we'd spend 5 minutes in a home, another 20 minute wait, etc. Might be worth that much time in line for the Louvre, but not for floating homes....
