Overwhelming selection and variety. The smells pull you in and your eyes keep you there. The Ferry Building marketplace is incredible, and the stalls out back are even better. Freshest oysters I've ever had in my life. Get your coffee before you get there, because every coffee place had a huge line. People watching and incredible local food. . .... More

What a wide food and items to choose from. Excellent food and farm products from all over CA were available. In addition, there was a wide selection of food vendors offering sweets, mushrooms, custom cheese, meats, ice creams, and the list goes on. Be careful with your wallets, the professional pick pockets were out. More

Along the water front by the Ferry Building in San Francisco. It doesn't get any more beautiful than that. And there are so many booths offering prepared foods, produce, cheese, jams, oils, fresh seafood, right near regular establishments with the same.
