If you haven't already missed this place (which we did twice in passing) I suggest you give it a whirl. Not quite knowing what to expect when we went in, it blew us away. It is a very relaxing, quirky and informal way to taste wines. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. Were a lover of French and... More

Our experience at the wine collective was average, nothing that stands out to make it a bad experience but there are seriously better value, more fun places to visit while in San Francisco. The wine selections were very limited and not that good. More

This is the indie music store of wine shops. The owner has a winery on TI, but offers many other artisan wines. The staff are beyond knowlegdeable and looking to share their passion, not wine snobs! If you don't have time to make a Sonoma/ Napa trip an hour here will do in a pinch. More

We stopped here for a glass of wine and tried the wine summer taste ..3 whites, all excellent. Then I ordered the olive oil sampler. Yummy. The sour dough bread was very tasty, too. More

Visted The Winery and enjoyed the wines so much we wanted to try the other labels. Carla gave a great presentation and really went the extra mile to be a resource to us. We'll be taking a bottle to dinner. More

We were immediately welcomed and felt right at home. The people working there were very friendly and not wine snobs at all. You could tell they truly enjoyed what they were doing and enjoyed sharing that with others. Also....great wine! More

My wife and I spent a week in SF on a recent vacation. We found the Winery Collective while walking around in the Fishermans Wharf area. What luck ! This is a small place, selling small-vineyard, small-production, and boutique wines. The service was outstanding. We were warmly greeted, and offered a seat on some couches with a small bar table....
