A friend of mine who is a SF local took me here for our Sunday stroll. We grabbed a latte and walked from the coffee shop to the Golden Gate bridge to place our hands on the plaque located where the path ends. This is an open, safe and comfortable place to walk, run, bike, bring your dog, have a... More

This is one of the best places to visit here in my hometown. This is where the locals hangout with friends and family. You can go for a walk, play on the surf, fishing, biking, hiking, bbq, etc... There plenty of room to have a picnic. If you want to bbq, either get here early and reserve a spot or... More

Huge area for walking, cycling away from the city crowds. Can be windy later in the day. Spotted Americas Cup yachts out sailing as well as kite surfers and windsurfers

It's an excellent walk with wonderful views. There's a nice art installation on display through May 2014.

We hiked from the Golden Gate bridge along the pathway and ended up at Crissy Field. I enjoyed watching all the families with their cook outs, kids and adults flying kites. The views of the bay and watching the fog roll in were beautiful. I also enjoyed watching the dogs playing on the beach. The sail boats and windsurfers were... More

Crissy Field is a natural park along the north shore of the San Francisco Peninsula. Just south of the Golden Gate Bridge, it offers spectacular views of the bridge, bay and city. The city people come here to play, a few even go into the frigid waters.

We cycled from Fishermans Wharf through Crissy Field and onto the Golden Gate Bridge. It is a lovely quiet area yet so close to the centre of San Fransisco. It has a lovely coastal walk and some amazing houses.

Open field for pets and people to roam around. The trail goes to either the city or the Golden Gate Park.

We walked from Fort Mason all the way to Doyle Drive and then headed back because it was so windy and getting cold. There were people walking their dogs, families on bikes, joggers, dogs chasing balls all muddy and wet...great area to walk and enjoy the bay and the view. It was so pretty.
