Beautiful, multi-story century-plus Victorian and Elizabethan houses, clean streets, good shopping variety up and down Fillmore street, this is one of the most pleasant neighborhoods in the city to wander. Also worth seeing is Alta Plaza, a good example of a hilltop San Francisco park. More

With gorgeous homes, clean streets and sweeping bay views, this represents the best of walking in San Francisco. It's where the Tycoons lived ; where the new American Tycoons live : Levi Strauss family, Larry Ellison, Marc Benioff et al. Go here and enjoy; avoid Fisherman's wharf, at your peril. More
