This is an extremely good company. The dancers are extremely well trained and the programs always interesting. Probably one of the best troupes in the states. If they are in town and performing---go see them. More

Although we live on the west coast of North America we typically travel to Russia or London for the best ballet. It was a pleasant surprise and a wonderful experience to see Romeo & Juliet performed on a similar level so much closer to home. We love the best ballet and could see no shortcuts being taken here. The costumes,... More

What I like best about the SF Ballet is that it has such a wonderfully varied program and such wonderful dancers. Personnally I prefer the newer pieces but the excell in classical ones also. More

Third version of The Nutcracker I've seen, and by far the best. Makes me want to see more ballets at the San Francisco Ballet. More

Have seen Seattle's PNB do the Nutcracker. The San Francisco Ballet's rendition is over the top in every way--I finally truly understood the story!!! Dancers, orchestra, all a 10. Sat in the nosebleed section but could see and hear wonderfully. So glad to have done this. And the history of ballet, this city and the Nutcracker--find out! More
