Definitely a "must visit" site if you are in town. I can't imagine living on this street, but it sure is beautiful! We didn't visit the "Full House" house, but I heard a rumor that if you tried to get your picture taken standing on the porch, the homeowner would come out and chase you away! More

After seeing car chases on films, I had to see this street. Lombard street was unbelievable watching the cars travel down it. I decided that it would be impossible to have a car chase down here over say 10 miles per hour. Facinating attraction. More

This was a must see, very different than anything I've seen before, and beautiful flowers that decorate the street. Great photo spot, definitely worth seeing. Very crowded though when we went mid day, maybe early morning would be less crowded? The next time we go to San Francisco I would like to drive down the street, we walked down when... More

Don't miss this one! We drove down it a couple of times. The gardens are beautiful. We were so fortunate to be there during the week. There were no crowds. We also walked up it to take pictures. More

I felt bad for those who actually live there. It's a must see in San Francisco, however. You can get some great pictures there! More

A friend that accompanied me on a recent vacation to San Francisco had been a prior visitor to the city and to Lombard Street. Her daughter, husband and herself had met an interesting fellow who tended Lombard Streets flowers and gardens. He is a resident of the street and is not compensated in any way by the city for the... Apart from self conscious people driving overly large cars down a winding one way street I didn't get much from this site. More

A very touristy sport but totally worth the trip to personally see this place! Take public transport for a better feel of the surrounding area! More
