Very windy up there! So don't forget your jacket! ;) Walk up one of the hills on top to have the best view! Takes 2 minutes and it's not that crowed up there as at the parking slot level below. Great place for 360 degree pictures!!!! :)

GREAT panoranic views of the entire SF area, especially by climbing up the hill behind the parking area. Really windy & crowded during the day but well worth it. Can't wait to return & get there for a sunrise. Great little trip to do late afternoon to capture the best light on the Painted Ladies, then over to Twin Peaks... More

This I may say was the highlight of my trip. The views are breathtaking. Since I was using my gps I could not find an actual address however my gps already had it recognized under Twin Peaks. My daughter was really enticed by the stone small wall. It does get crowded however there is a quick turn around. There is... More

Rather than taking one of the tour buses we got a taxi to take us up there for photos-nice views which help you get a feel for the layout of the city.

per a recommendation from another TripAdvisor, I purposely scheduled a very early flight in, and made Twin Peaks my destination first thing after picking up my car rental to catch the sunrise on top of Twin Peaks. I was bummed before getting up the fog was thick, but man oh man. We got up there and at first you don't... More

Travelled up here on a Deluxe City tour to get a view of the main city attraction. Twin Peaks was the best view of San Francisco that we found and is strongly recommended, but only if teh wether is clear. As you may know, SF gets fggy at times and low lying cloud can sit on Twin Peaks and the... More

What an unexpected surprise! We rode up the steep, twisty streets on our tour shuttle with no idea of what was at the top of the hill. I had managed to miss pix from here during my trip-planning. Great spot for pictures. Worth the tour price

Okay here is the deal. Grab yourself a big Cup of coffee and head up to the Peaks before the sun rises. It would be a good idea to figure out how to get there prior to this time as it is a little confusing. Bring a warm jacket and the best camera you can beg borrow or steal. Get out... More

I always like to take a 'city tour' when I travel to a new city. I like the history and the big picture view. You really cannot understand San Francisco without seeing it from the top of these hills. That and a bus tour through the neighborhoods with historical narration is well worth the to earn money.
