Many folks lounge about and have their outdoor lunches here which is en route to Moscone Convention Center. Not too many bums here. SF has its share of panhandlers and homeless. Most are not aggressive. Most seem druggies. Do not walk farther than sixth street and Mission though as it gets sketchy.

I discovered this place by accident 10 years ago - attending a convention with two active boys, There is a lot here for busy kids to explore, and restful places for adults to sit and enjoy the sunshine. Lovely garden in the middle of the city. Definitly worth a visit. Even if you are here in winter, if you catch a nice day, its worth heading out ro the gardens. Enjoy the walk and the noce water features.

Nice park in the financial district. Stopped by since the hotel was close. Nice water attractions. Lots of places to sit and relax and a handful of places to eat or get coffee or tea.

I really enjoyed this "concrete" park. It did have grass and waterfalls so that is not to mislead you; however it seems to have a cleaner feel than most city parks due to the concrete.
