I don't see why this is even an attraction it's nice to sit and relax but it's just a small piece of grass in a built up area of town. That literally is all. So much more to see in San Fran. Don't entertain it if you are short on time!

the gardens are located in the middle of a busy area, full of shopping and art but that's all they are- gardens, and not even specifically beautiful ones. nice place to hang out for an afternoon or buy a pastry from one of the bakeries around and eat while enjoying the sun but nothing more. there are few commercial opportunitues...

Beautiful place, with lot of green areas. The AMC theatre is right in front of this park where you can watch IMAX movies :)
Overall a very beautiful park, across from the San Francisco Modern Art Museum. It's also attached to the Moscone Center East and the Metreon. Upstairs and across the bridge you will find an old fashioned carousel and a children's creative center. The park is a nice place to eat your lunch, and there were a lot of people there every...

Many folks lounge about and have their outdoor lunches here which is en route to Moscone Convention Center. Not too many bums here. SF has its share of panhandlers and homeless. Most are not aggressive. Most seem druggies. Do not walk farther than sixth street and Mission though as it gets sketchy.
I discovered this place by accident 10 years ago - attending a convention with two active boys, There is a lot here for busy kids to explore, and restful places for adults to sit and enjoy the sunshine. If you have kids, cross the footbridge to the park and have them visit the playground, the carousel, and the childrens museum...

Lovely garden in the middle of the city. Definitly worth a visit. Even if you are here in winter, if you catch a nice day, its worth heading out ro the gardens. Enjoy the walk and the noce water features.
Nice park in the financial district. Stopped by since the hotel was close. Nice water attractions. Lots of places to sit and relax and a handful of places to eat or get coffee or tea.
We came here to see the MLK Memorial, and it is inspiring. "No, no, we will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like water and righteousness like a mighty stream." There beside and behind the waterfall are quotes from Martin Luther King Jr. It's a great place to pause and contemplate. "I have the audacity to believe that people...

I really enjoyed this "concrete" park. It did have grass and waterfalls so that is not to mislead you; however it seems to have a cleaner feel than most city parks due to the concrete. There was a band playing the time I went by and we had many food options to choose from too. I mostly enjoyed sitting in...
