The best boat in Bar harbor! Great family fun and very exciting. I helped hoist the sails and took tons of pictures of the Porcupine Islands and the great big red sails! I highly recommend this trip. The captain and crew are very nice and happy to talk about the ship and area. It was a little foggy on our... More

I used to work on this boat - and I'm glad to see people putting up honest critiques. I've never experienced such demeaning and horrible management at the workplace in my life. Overworked - harassed and degraded daily. The captain is known throughout the town to be a pretty hard to guy to work for. Turnover rate is high -... More

Very slow trip out in the bay and back. Nothing much to see other than a few islands and a very distant lighthouse. This is clearly a tourist trap. Way too much money for what you get. Your money is much better spent on a whale watch. More

My group was treated very poorly by the captain on our trip which is unfair because we paid the same amount as everyone else. I wouldn't recommend this trip because there are so many better more worthwhile things to do in Bar Harbor. More

Not worth the money. The captain is rude and mean. He only allows certain people to have wine and demeans other people. I would never recommend this to anyone. More

We were excited to have the opportunity to sail out of Bar Harbor with hopes of sailing around the several islands in the harbor and for the chance to see harbor seals and maybe a dolphin. Once we left the dock and cleared the boats anchored in the harbor the crew cut the motor, and did nothing with the sails... More

We enjoyed watching the beautiful Margaret Todd leave the dock each evening for the sunset cruise, but we were not interested in joining a crowd. On our last day in Bar Harbor, we looked out to see a small group lining up for the 10 AM cruise. A group of 20-30 was more our speed. and we rushed down to... More

We took the (very crowded) Sunset Cruise on the Margaret Todd out of Bar Harbor. Please be clear what you are buying; this is a boat ride out from the harbor and back. We were back on land while it was still daylight; so I'm not sure why it is called a "sunset" cruise. The Captain and crew were competent... More

sunset cruise was OK. Neat to help crew raise sails And be on a big sail ship if you've never done it..... But pretty crowded. Music dude was good ... But tough to hear. More romantic to watch it sail while having a cocktail at the Inn. not a lot of personality - but staff was nice. (could benefit from... More
