I performed at a wedding reception at this country club. The staff was very helpful, friendly, & professional! The decor was nice, and their food was great! I highly recommend this country club for anyone having a wedding reception in Bar Harbor, Maine.

A wonderful test of golf near bar harbor. Greens are VERY fast and generally with a lot of break. If you are above the hole you will end up sliding by the hole 4-5 feet if you are not careful. The pictures on the website do not do this course justice, as the pictures depict an ordinary course, which this is not. Seemingly short (6100 + from back tees), most holes play much longer. Surprisingly good food for a casual lunch. We even brought our well behaved dog who sat quietly under the table on the deck. Nice burgers, good salads, quesadillas, and other specials. lunch in the club was great overall it was a basic golf course - too many opportunities to get hit by balls - not enough gap between holes - look up we also spotted 7 bald eagles flying around

It is said that Walter Hagan had his money games here on the eighth oldest golf course in America(1888). A good test on a wonderful old course. Some holes are very much in the link style.
