My husband and I spent 10 days in Maui and we visited beaches all over the Island. It's clean, clear and relaxing. We snorkel and I'm not a swimmer which made it even more amazing. This beach is a must see, must visit an must swim!

Great place to relax in the sun (or the shade). Eatery at the Sheraton was superb. There are also two great restaurants at Whaler's Village.

Very long white sand beach. If you do not go early enough, expect to pay premium parking fees at hotels nearby (we were not staying on Ka'anapali). We went around 9 and all free parking was already scooped up. The beach was very empty and peaceful in the morning but did fill up eventually. You could look at the view... More

Great walk by the ocean, but pretty expensive to eat or drink. Sunsets are absolutely beautiful. Hold hands and stroll.

Sand looks like brown sugar...your toes just melt into the sand as you walk. Nice backdrop and a sunset to die for. You can walk for miles on this beach- there is so much space to just lay around and sun bathe. There are really no words to describe this place- you just have to go and see it for... More

This was a beautiful beach, not too crowded, with great snorkeling! The coral was some of the most beautiful we have ever seen.

I'm always amazed to visit a beach that is supposed to be amazing only to find it full of rocks and boulders. Have none of these people ever been to an actual nice beach? We spent five nights at the Westin Villas on Kaanapali beach in April and have to say the beach sucked! If you walked half a mile... More

There are a lot better beaches than this to enjoy unless you're the see and be seen type or afraid of leaving the hotel zone. Snorkeling is better in more secluded places and everywhere along here is overpriced to eat or shop. However, I imagine that if you're a teenaged girl traveling with her parents this would be the place... More

While we have been on Maui many times and visited Kaanapali, this was our first time staying at a resort on the beach. It's great. Wonderful beach, especially at Sheraton Black Rock. Very nice. Highly recommend it.
