We were a group of seven who took beginner lessons. These guys were amazing! I loved that all of our instructors were true Hawaiians and obviously passionate about surfing and teaching. All of our intructors were super friendly and fun! We would have all loved to have gone back for more lessons if time permitted. They also took great photos... More

We can't say enough good things about this surf school. Great value, great and patient instructors, awesome location. This blew us away and we can't wait to come back to Outrageous Surf. We stayed at the Westin Villas and it isn't but a 15 minute ride to the middle of Lahaina. This was by far a highlight of our Hawaiian... More

Instructors were very friendly and funny. They ve done their job and everybody who we took lesson with was able to stand after few waves (somebody with even first wave). You wont regret if you go surfing with them... More

We have always wanted to try surfing so decided to go with Outrageous Surf. I cannot recommend them highly enough! First off they are locals and absolutely love teaching people how to surf. You watch a video, then practice getting up in the shop before heading to the water. The instruction is spot on and really works. The surf area... More

These guys were good teachers and made it really fun. They included surf shirts to prevent rashes (very good idea) and had pictures available for $30 (100+ pictures). I would definitely do it again. More

My wife and I were in Maui for a little over a week, then a week in Kauai for a week. We pretty much did everything that we should on the two islands (fishing, Napali Coast, Hana, etc.), and this was our favorite adventure. This is also coming from an adult male with sub-par balance. We had a great time,... More

I would highly recommend outrageous surf - they are local maui people who instantly make you feel comfortable and are expert surfers but more importantly are excellent people and surf instructors. Extremely patient - helpful, knowledgeable, and always have a smile on their faces - Where other classes had 8-12 people in training, their classes are limited to 6. Out... More

The instructors here are so great!! One of the highlights of this school. I took group lessons here in a group of about 15 or so, none of us having ever surfed before and EVERY person got up on the board. From kids aged about 12 to older individuals, we all were able to successfully surf. I can't rave enough... More

We spent a lot of time walking through what you need to do and the team was great , but immediately started in with how they are the best because they are natives and their ancestors invented surfing , and if the other crews try to help us don't talk to them and let their "crew" handle it. I felt... More

My first girl trip in years and my friends and I all agreed this was truly the best attraction Maui has to offer. The team was actually patient and put us at ease as it was our first time ever surfing, we got a workout while being entertained. Be warned, your body will scream at you the next morning and... More
