nice sandy beach, close to beach park with restrooms, good snorkeling & swimming, shade trees, easy access, you can walk clear down the beach to Black Rock (south) and can access the beach path that connects the resorts. One of my favorites More

Spending a lot of time on Maui every summer, I have to opportunity to seek out new dive spots. This beach is used by many nearby dive companies to certify new divers and there is a good reason why! Not only is the water very calm throughout the day (unless you catch an off day, which happens occasionally) but the... More

Great pavilion with shaded picnic tables, showers, and restrooms. Good snorkeling right from the pavilion. Best wading/kid-playing area is probably to the left (few hidden rocks on the sandy ocean bottom). Not comfortable on the most windy days, but somewhat protected from afternoon winds. Some shade, some lawn, lots and lots of sand. More

This beach is also called Airport Beach. It is to the north of the Black Rock. We have found that when it is windy to the north, like in Honokowai, that due to the curve of the beach this area is less windy. It is also absolutely gorgeous and the ocean has a sandy bottom in this area so you... More

This beach is just north of the much more famous Ka'anapali beach. Unlike its glitzy cousin, there is ample free parking without needing to stay at one of the high-end hotels or resorts or pay $30 to park at the Whaler's Village mall. This makes it a perfect beach for those who may be staying elsewhere on the island. There... More

This is by far our favorite place on the Island! We love all that it has to offer, views of Molokai/Lanai, beautiful ocean waters, nice sand, great swimming, great snorkeling at the reef, beautiful coral and fish/turtles, occasional Monk Seal, great walking beach! Don't miss this one and take time to see it all! More

A fun place to get away from the sand or be on the beach. It's a public park just like all the beaches are public. Restroom and shaded picnic tables, too. More

Easy parking and access to miles of Kaanapali. There's now a boardwalk all along the beach and lots of uncrowded area. Snokeling is excellent, too. Check a local map for location More
