This garden is well worth the visit with winding paths filled with flowers. The proteas are magnificent and there are many other beautiful flowers. The "bird sanctuary" was sparsely populated with 2 ne ne and a couple of ducks but that wasn't why we came to the garden. Overall it was a lovely way to spend a morning. More

We stopped in the late morning and it was misty rain. The attendee gave us an umbrella. Later it came a major down pour! There are a few arbors with solid roofs but most are open. Wonderful selection of orchids! The location is a beautiful backdrop for some of the more exotic plants and trees, my husband and I had ever seen. The bird of paradise are gorgeous! They have some plants that produce flowers that look like little fairies! I had to take several photos for my granddaughter! More

We visited the gardens just before Christmas after seeing sunrise at Haleakala. It's not terribly fancy but it was certainly well maintained for our visit.
