We always take the time to visit the Maui Swap Meet when we visit Maui. I would not really call it a swap meet but more like a street fair. Good produce and local one of a kind hand made items. There is a 50 cent entry fee and it gets hot because there is not a lot of shade.... More

When in Maui THIS is the place to buy veggies and baked goods at a reasonable price. $1 lettuce, .50 bells, bags of tomatoes, onions, mushrooms are $2. Cant beat that even at Costco. Only open on Saturdays so bring your bags and load up. Also, yummy fresh baked breads, cupcakes and more. Reasonable prices on Hawaiian clothes, hats, and... More

We go to Maui every summer and we NEVER skip this weekly event. It's an amazing place. Don't be fooled--like I was originally--by the name "swap meet." Because of the name swap meet I expected a lot of junk--discards from peoples' garages and basically trash. Therefore I avoided going to it for years. How I regret those missed hours of... More

We just got back from the Maui Swap Meet and let me tell you, we were very impressed withe prices of fruits and vegatables. The people are friendly and the atmosphere there was lively and energetic. We plan on going every Saturday while we are here, you have to try the guava and macadamia nut breads plus the macadamia nut... More

It's almost been a year since coming here and am impressed with the bigger selection of booths here! Impressed with the food vendors, mostly. Breakfast consisted of a slice of mango cheesecake pie, a gogi taco and a freshly made waffle with gingerbread " Lani Ai". Drank the lychee raspberry iced tea from the Maui Rainbow Tea booth. What amazing... More

Definitely some great bargains here. Bought some of our family's souvenirs here. Prices reasonable at most booths. We shopped here our last day on the island and didn't make it until the afternoon so had to kind of hurry through but still saw it all. Really liked one of the jewelers there....unique items. Definitely worth the drive to check it... More

Luckily, this was one of our first stops in Maui. They have a lot of the same things but then some unique items as well. I would highly recommend trying some of the butters made on Maui. We brought a lot home. Coconut butter was excellent. We also bought some coconut candy which was so good as well. We got... More

This place is only open on Saturdays from 7am-1pm. If you can, make this your first shopping stop if your trip. You will see variety if goods that are cheaper than the mainstream tourist shops. Also, bring cash. I had $8 and was able to get a Maui samosa, banana egg rolls and pineapple upside down cake. Would like to... More

This is one of the best farmer's markets I have ever seen. My family spent 2 1/2 hours on site and had a great time. This was an interesting an dunique perspective on Maui. There were many characters here - in the booths and on the grounds. The people watching was as much fun as the browsing. There were many... More
