I'm too old to boogie board but my brother seemed to have a very good time at this beach. It attracts younger people so you see a lot of activities and hard bodies. There is also a cliff to jump off if you are brave enough.

easy to get to, small beach. there were some competitions while we were there and it is also where you can walk up to the lithified cliffs. If you want to make a day of it, the Hyatt is right there for lunch/drinks at many restaurants.

This beach was at the start of a shoreline trail we took, which was great! so we decided to come back to hang out and swim the next day. The waves here are so rough and impossible to swim into. We only stayed a short time. But we did get to see some cliff jumpers which was pretty cool!

Take the walk up the path to the top of the cliff. If you don't know just ask there's friendly locals everywhere to guide you in the right direction. The photo opportunities will be treasured.

We went to this beach b/c my husband was dying to be one of the fool hearted young men that leap into the waters of the pacific off the cliffs at shipwreck. :)
We didn't seen any jumpers the days we were there! I'm guessing it was b/c of the HUGE waves!!!
The beach is in front of a resort,...

There were surfers all over the water and nice big waves. A relativly small beach with a tiny parking area that is accessed through the Po'ipu Bay golf course with no signage to show you the way. Just pass the Grand Hyatt Resort heading toward CJM stables and turn right on The road at the Golf course and follow it...

If you want to get away from some of the crowds, this is the place to go. Be careful of the surf though.

Surf was consistently good. Clean & fast. For the non surfer's some great views up close. Body surfing would be good to. Also the trail head of a great hike.

This was close to where we stayed. The beach was nice, but small and not very crowded. We were able to see a Monk Seal one day that came to rest there. The cliffs at the beach were great for exploring.
