Beautiful beach next to the Marriott Hotel. The currents were strong when we were there and the lifeguards leave around 4:30 when there's still alot of daylight. More

The water wasn't as pristine as some of its counterparts in the Northern or Southern region of Kauai but it's right in front of some dining restaurants which makes for prime real estate. Who doesn't love eating with a beachfront view? The hubby and I walked along those big rocks they have on the side and we spotted all these... More

We spent one day here only to return a couple days later. A local told us for our childrens safety to go elsewhere due to storm and sewage issues. We thanked him and went north. In our time spent the day before we had a great time and found the waves perfect to play in for our kids. Looks to... More

Staying at the Marriott, this was our first beach expereince on Kauai. It was a cool day, so not much of a crowd. There is a lot of sand and few rocks, so it would have been nice for swimming. There is some surf, but most of it is blocked. It rained 7 inches the night that we were there... More
