Took this tour a few years ago. I love getting to peek at areas on the island that I otherwise would not have access to. The grounds here are beautiful and worth a garden lovers visit.

It's a little pricey but well worth the money for a well guided tour for plant and garden lovers. Need to book in advance since there are no self-guided tours. There are different tour options, some are 5 hrs long. Saw some amazing plants and also baby albatrosses near the cliff. It was a highlight of our Kauai experience.

The only way to see these gorgeous grounds is by making an appointment for a guided tour. They offer different touring options and lengths - walking, via tram. I went with my husband when we were staying in Kauai. We chose the Ka Waimakai walk which takes you through the forest, down to the beach, through the formal gardens including...

We contacted them over a year in advance - as we knew we wanted a ceremony on/ near the water. I loved the privacy of the location and we were able...

Yes,this is an expensive tour, but worth it. Lots of beautiful flowers, trees, dedicated staff, many sculptures, wildlife. A dedicated couple developed this huge property, many incredible plants and scenery, suggest the longer trip, so much to see. Worth the cost.

The children's play area was awesome.
The price of admission was a little steep.

Great tour in mini outdoor bus which is great as the garden is very large. Educational as you learn about the different plants. Beautiful bronze statues, children's garden, and great gift shop.

Friends treated me to a trip to this beautiful place, created by Ed and Joyce Doty. What a wonder! Our tour included close-up viewing of nesting albatross and even a chick being fed by its parent. I could have watched them all day. The "cart" tour included the children's garden (wonderful) and stops at beautiful bronze sculptures along with spectacular...

Joyce and Ed doty turned a dry dusty 240acres into an amazing diverse paradise. We I
Liked walking down the stream bed with mahogany ginger cycads palms breadfruit kukui nuts and many more. Then there was a secluded beach with albatross soaring overhead and 15 foot breakers. Up to the house and formal gardens the the lagoon with cactus garden...

We took the ride-walk tour on very rainy day first of February. I was glad to have the protection of the little riding cart, but it was so uncomfortable. The guide would point something out on the left side - we were on the right, twisting to see the left. We were at the back. My husband got the gas...
