This is a nice stop if you're visiting in the area. Cose to the Pu'uhonua O Honaunau National Park (aka Place of Refuge). Quaint little church has paintings on the ceiling and walls. Definately worth a quick detour.

I enjoyed visiting this very special church. The paintings are beautiful - there is one that depicts Cain, Abel, and their mother Eve try going to revive Abel. Cain is trying to look distraught but there's a look of evil in his eyes - Amazing! I've never seen anything like it. The drive to the church is a little challenging....

It's an ok little distraction, worth about 10-15 minutes. Will likely appeal more to the religious crowd. Good parking.
