“Good introduction to river rafting”

We were part of a group going down a gentler part of the Snake River. The guide was knowledgable and did his best to discuss the River and surroundings. The only disappointment was the limited amount of wildlife that we saw. Going down this stretch of the Snake River was a very good way to ease in white water rafting.

I stopped here without a reservation and was on the next white water raft trip within the hour . I felt the staff was very professional and that there was no doubt about the safety of the trip. “Sooo relaxing”

Called at 8:30 am to book the 11:30 trip and was pleasantly surprised that we could still get a vegetarian lunch. We took the scenic float trip and it was beautiful with fall color at its' peak. We took the scenic float trip 8/24/12 with Dan as our guide. Dan was great, very personable, easy to talk to, had good explanations for our many questions and we had some good laughs along the way. The trip was beautiful, well organized and throroughly enjoyable. We were very happy we chose Mad River!

We're so glad we chose Mad River. Their guides were very experienced, their equipment was clean and new and we really enjoyed the stop for lunch. “Great fun for the family!”

Not cheap and not 3.5-4 hours as advertised, more like 1.5 hours net rafting, the rest is form signing and bus ride to and from the river. The photos are way overpriced but of course we bought them. GREAT FUN!!!
