This is an extension of the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. If you want a whirlwind of natural Western history, this is a must-see. If you're in Yellowstone, there's really no excuse not to head to Cody for a day and check this place out. More

The Draper Museum is dedicated to the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, and is the finest natural history museum I've ever seen. Nothing is behind glass. Animals, sounds, and smells of the wild lands surround you. It's magical. More

This section of the Buffalo Bill Historic Center you learn about the different Eco systems present and can walk through them getting a 'full experience' they have animals of each areas, you may hear bird or other animal calls. Wow, what a great museum! Unlike many other well established, natural museums I have visited this museum is modern, fresh, well layout with many thoughtful and well displayed exhibits.
