This is a cute recreation of a gunfight scene from back in the day. It was hard to hear at times, but it was free and cute. Kids liked it and were entertained for a while. First 15-20 minutes are advertisements for local attractions.

Next to the Irma Hotel, at 6pm, several local "actors" have a gunfight. We were there for the first night of their summer season. It was totally amateurish, with no story line. The characters seemed more interested in selling their posters to the crowd. Had to also buy "reserved" chairs for $2 a piece to have the priledge of sitting...

The gunfight is held at 6:00 in front of the Irma Hotel. We enjoyed it and I would recommend it for anyone with children. The show is free and you can get reserved seats for $2.00. All the money from donations, posters and reserved seats goes to charity. A fun Western experience.
Stumbled upon this street performance a bit after it had begun - found a seat on the sidewalk and 10 yr old grandchild and I really enjoyed the show. Cody was just a stop enroute to Yellowstone but this really made the stay in Cody memorable and felt like a fun discovery. Kudos to Cody and Irma Inn.
The owner of the Motel were we stayed told us that we couldn't mis this one. It would be a blast. So we went with high expectations but we came back really disappointed. It was really bad acting.
The good thing about it was that all the profits goes to charity.
Maybe later on the season it will get better...

Great group of characters but lacks any talent. Was expecting somewhat of a show, what we got was a poorly done hard to hear (until the gun shots) disappointing function. We gave up other things to attend this"show" so I would not recommend. But at least it was free!
Great show, very enjoyable, lots of laughs. Everyone should love this shoot out. A little loud but that is understandable
This cast of characters out side the Irma are fun. Be sure to bring your family and friends who are visiting to see them. During "prime time tourist season" it can get pretty crowded, so if you need a seat - get there early.
Fun event if you go with an open mind. Don't expect a real sharp professional show, just some guys dressed as cowboys having fun and shooting blanks at each other. One warning, they advertise the show as being free and it is, but when you get there they wast to charge you $5.00 each for a folding chair to sit...

Well attended .Well introduced with a mention for USA veterans and everyone singing The Stars and Stripes, found it quite moving .Then the action. These people were fantastic. Every one of them looked just as I expected them to look. Wyatt Earp looked just as I had always pictured he would ..The setting out side the Irma really brought this...
